10 minutes with… TrustQuay’s Melina Lori

In the first of a new series, we spend 10 minutes getting to know a different member of the TrustQuay team from around the world…

Hi Melina! Our first question, where are you based, and what is your role here at TrustQuay?

I am based in Cyprus and I have a hybrid role split between business development, account management and demand generation. I primarily work with partners, customers and prospective customers in Cyprus, Malta and Mauritius.

How long have you been with the business, and how would you describe an average day?

I’ve been working for TrustQuay and a previous company that was acquired for 13 years in total and I can certainly tell you that it’s been one hell of a ride so far! A typical day would involve discussions and product demos with prospective clients, catch-up meetings with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues and finally coordinating our outbound demand generation activities with our sales and marketing teams.”

So outside of this packed schedule and onto your life outside of work, what movie would you recommend we have to see? ”

Many movies come into my mind as each is linked with a different memory… but if I must choose one, I will say Under the Tuscan Sun.

So how would you sum up the benefits of TrustQuay’s software in a nutshell?

Back to life outside of TrustQuay – what’s in your calendar that you’re looking forward to in the next three months?

Well, I’m looking forward to heading over to the UK for TrustQuay’s summer party! And on a personal note, as a genuine islander I look forward to a long summer season at the beach with my SUP!

And away from Cyprus, where would you most like to visit?

One of my dream trips is to explore the Tuscany region by car.

Since joining TrustQuay what is your proudest moment?

When a customer called me out as the reason they love to work with TrustQuay certainly made me very proud.

In terms of culture and atmosphere, how would you describe TrustQuay compared to other businesses you’ve worked for?

Hands down, this is one of the most multicultural and people-oriented businesses I’ve worked for. It’s one that promotes excellence, invests in its people and rewards hard work, while encouraging a healthy work/life balance.

Finally, are you an early bird or a night owl?
