We are proud to announce our first TQtogether charity initiative - 60 miles in 60 days - in memory of our colleague, Mark Ayliffe.

Mark Ayliffe

In late 2020, we were extremely saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. He was a much-loved colleague not only to our Cambridge team, but to the Company as a whole. The 60 miles in 60 days event has been set up to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, which has been nominated by Mark’s family.

TrustQuay staff are starting their 60-mile journey on 1st April 2021 and aim to complete the distance by 30th May 2021, either by walking, running, cycling, or swimming.

William Ham, Fundraising Manager for the British Heart Foundation said:

"We are enormously grateful to everyone at TrustQuay for not only nominating the BHF as one of their chosen charities this year but also for showing such interest in taking part in the 60:60 physical challenge. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on our investment into life-saving research.

TrustQuay’s timely support, when so many others have cancelled their fundraising plans, is particularly appreciated. We know that nearly half of people that died of Covid-19 also suffered from heart and circulatory conditions, so there has never been a more important time to back the BHF.”

We will be hugely grateful for your support and donations as we complete this event, raising money for the British Heart Foundation and remembering Mark. You can donate through our JustGiving page.

We will keep you posted on staff progress throughout the challenge so stay tuned for updates!
