At the end of September, TQtogether’s ‘Quit for a Bit’ was completed in aide of Alzheimer’s Society and we are delighted to announce that we raised £2,790.24.

‘Quit for a Bit’ involved our employees giving up one of their vices for the month of September to coincide with Alzheimer’s’ Awareness Month. Our participants found the event challenging, with some doing better than others, but we're all happy to have completed it for this worthy cause.

Andy Kendall, Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society said:

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part in Quit for a Bit and thank you for your brilliant support in giving up the things you love (like chocolate!) for a whole month. We’d also like to say a special thank you to Mark’s family for nominating Alzheimer’s Society as the charity to benefit from your fantastic fundraising.

Like all charities, our income has taken a huge blow due to the pandemic, while demand for our vital dementia support services has sky-rocketed. Without the generosity of supporters like you we simply cannot keep up. Your donation will make a big difference to lives of people affected by dementia and their families who have never needed us more. Thank you."

We just want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to those of you who donated to this charity event and also to our employees who took part, we are delighted and proud of the amount of money raised for this great cause.
