Today marks the launch of our second charitable event, ‘Quit for a Bit’ for Alzheimer’s Society, from our TQtogether initiative started this year to give back to the communities in which TrustQuay operates.

‘Quit for a Bit’ is in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society which is a charity nominated by the family of our colleague, Mark Ayliffe, who sadly passed away in 2020. Alzheimer’s Society supports those with dementia, so they do not have to go through it alone and campaign for change as well as fund research to find a cure. We have launched this charity event in September as it is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and our employees who are taking part will be giving up something that they love for a month. Examples include snacking, caffeine, and alcohol.

Andy Kendall, Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society said:

“We just wanted to take this time before you start your Quit for a Bit fundraising event to say a huge thank you and good luck for the coming month. We are truly grateful for all TrustQuay’s ongoing support in aid of Alzheimer’s Society and delighted you have united with us against dementia.”

TrustQuay will be hugely grateful for your support and donations throughout this event to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. You can donate through the TQtogether JustGiving page.
