TQtogether Launches New ‘House-to-House’ Fundraising Challenge

 TrustQuay’s first charity challenge of 2022 is officially live

TQtogether, the charity initiative led by staff from TrustQuay offices, is proud to announce its first fundraising event of 2022.

This year, TrustQuay staff are running a ‘House-to-House’ challenge in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, an international organisation close to the hearts of many TrustQuay employees.

The challenge starts on 01 April 2022 with staff aiming to walk, cycle or run a combined total of kilometres equivalent to the distance between TrustQuay‘s office in Sydney, Australia and a Ronald McDonald House based in Ottawa close to our Canadian TrustQuay employees.

The route has also been calculated to include ‘stop-offs’ at TrustQuay offices in Singapore, Cyprus, Luxemburg, the UK, Jersey, and Guernsey, as well as the charity’s houses around the world.

What is Ronald McDonald House Charities? Ben Walker, Corporate Fundraiser from the charity explains:

“The best medical care for your child isn’t always close to home, and families often find themselves travelling long distances to be with their child in hospital. Ronald McDonald House Charities has 12 houses across the UK and 62 across the globe. Our houses give families a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax, just moments away from their child’s hospital ward.

“As an independent charity, we rely on the support of our volunteers, fundraisers and donors to keep families close to their sick children in hospital each year.

“We want to wish everyone at TrustQuay the best of luck with their ‘House-to-House’ challenge and say a massive thank you for helping us keep families close. We look forward to seeing your distances!”

TQtogether’s challenge will run for 62 days – 01 April to 01 June 2022 – to represent the charity’s 62 houses around the world. TrustQuay employees will quite literally be going the extra mile and would be hugely grateful for your support.
